ABOUT OUR 26'-29' PANGA STYLE BOATS

There are many small local Panga style boats in this region and we have carefully selected only the few that meet & maintain the stringent safety,performance, and professional standards we demand from them to be a part of our fleet and carry VIP Beach House guests.

 

To insure the absolute best fishing expriences, You are ALWAYS better off booking your fishing charters through us than through anyone else or on your own.

 

 

LOCATION

These boats depart from the Beach Front next to the Los Suenos Marina and Marriott Resort. If you are staying at the Los Suenos Marriott, we can arrange to have the boat pick you up on the beach right behind the hotel.

 

If you are staying in Jaco, Hermosa,or Punta Leona, you will need to take a Taxi to Herradura Beach where these boats are located.

Normal Departure Time (Full or 1/2 day): 7:00-7:15am

Normal Return Time:      Full Day 4:00-4:30pm

  • Customary 15-20% gratuity for your Captain & Crew to share. Presented to your Captain at the end of your day.
  • On 1/2 Day Trips Lunch & Snacks are NOT provided, however you are welcome to bring your own food/snacks if you wish.

What to Bring

Suggested things to bring with you on your Panga Boat Fishing Charter

 

  • Sunblock (50SPF or higher)
  • Sunglasses
  • Shorts/T-Shirt
  • Sneakers or Boat shoes
  • Ball cap or your lucky fishing hat
  • Hand Towel
  • Still and or Video Camera w/fully charged battery
  • Extra Cash for 15-20% crew gratuity
  • Patience and a positive attitude. :-)

 

**NOTE** All Panga boats depart from the Beach. You will have to wade into above the knee deep water to board the shuttle boat that takes you to the boat you are fishing on, and again when you return. We suggest you wear shorts and shoes that can get wet, or that you can easily remove. We also suggest you put your wallets/cameras/lighters/cigarettes in a Zip lock bag or platic shopping bag.

 

Things NOT to Bring

 

  • Dark bottom or hard bottom soled shoes that leave scuff marks on white decks
  • Heels or dress shoes
  • Glass bottles or containers of any kind.

 

** Sea Sickness Prevention**

While we are fortunate that the nearshore waters and Offshore waters here are usaully very calm year-round, if you feel that any member of your party might be suseptable to sea sickness, it is recommended that they take a Dramamine or other anti-sea sickness pill before bed the night before going fishing, and then again in the morning after eating something and BEFORE getting on the boat.
